Ingredients
3/4 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup liquid-egg substitute
1 1/3 cups flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup baking chips, chocolate, semi sweet
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup applesauce, unsweetened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup liquid-egg substitute
1 1/3 cups flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup baking chips, chocolate, semi sweet
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Lightly coat two 8×8-inch baking pans with cooking spray.
Stir together the cocoa, baking soda, and butter in a large mixing bowl.
Add 1/2 cup boiling water and stir until smooth and thick.
Add the applesauce, sugar, egg substitute, flour, and vanilla.
Fold in the chocolate chips last.
Divide batter between pans and bake 25-35 minutes or until firm in center.
Allow to cool and cut each pan into 12 pieces.
Brownies can be frozen for later.
